Introducing the Kenya Read Project!

Paige facetiming the Twinsbright School in May 2023!

We are Quinn, Paige and Brynlee, three students from Woodland Park, and we have a dream to bring a library to the Twinsbright school in Kenya. We have made some awesome 3d prints and are selling other cool items to help raise money for this project. We have made keychains, bookmarks, buttons, and more to raise money for the library. We have been going into our steam lab to work every day on this project. We are partnered with a school called Twinsbright from Eldoret, Kenya. WPMS has worked with Twinsbright on various projects since 2019. Twinsbright has a dream to bring a library for their students and the children in their community!

A Woodland Park student named Cheyenne led an effort to collect school supplies for Twinsbright in 2019. Cheyenne collected a tub of supplies and donations through the Spring of 2020. Cheyenne’s efforts as a middle schooler helped bring a new playground to Twinsbright in 2022. This fall, they told us about their dream of having a library in their community. This gave us a new mission. We decided to start a project to help fundraise the beginning of Twinsbright’s library construction. We are hoping to raise $1,000 by the summer of 2023, and we’d be honored if you joined our effort!
