Kenya Help? A Student Led Legacy Project

We want to send a shout out to Christina and Amelia, two sixth graders at Monument Academy in Monument, Colorado. Together they started the One Step to Hope initiative, a schoolwide effort to collect 1,000 shoes to help the students of HIPAfrica. Together they took the initiative to reach out to the elementary students asking if they can join the campaign. With Amelia designing the campaign posters, Christina presented to the elementary staff and got their clearance to the launch the campaign to the elementary schoolers. Amelia and Christina are now working with HIPAfrica to try to figure out how they can start a project to save their school in Kenya. Watching students create their own legacies is a dream comeback true for us at the Open World Cause - and we wouldn't like to forward One Step to Hope's challenge to all our followers; Kenya help?
